Non Vaux and for a mate, I would have a bash but haven't used PS for ages and will hash it up, I could use the smudge tool and lasso but that's about it :D

Are any of those pics any good? He is wanting it shopped Audi daytona grey if possible http://www.r-8.cc/uploads/RTEmagicC_CIMG0432.JPG.jpg with the original side vinyl and the diamond cut pepper pots.

Anyone fancy a challenge?

I refuse... Nowadays NO mk1 XR2 should be ruined by being painted any other than a standard colour.

lol 'Cheers' Loggy lol Yeah, the problem with his at present is the silver metallic is original paint and looking very flat, plus it has sunburst red panels on it from me old xr2 etc and needs a spray, and seeing as he now owns the diamond cut pots from the black mk1 they will look wrong against silver paint.
Also there is a lad we know who has just had his repainted in the standard silver and it looks lifeless in pics!
So he is looking for inspiration elsewhere and we both agree a nice grey would look awesome. He would consider white but says that is for the minty mint xr2's / supersports.

Lew that black one was the business but now doesn't exist :(

That black Mk1 is for sale on pistonheads. £5300!! Is even minter than it is in the picture and now on RS 4 Spokes with the XR2 decals down the side.


As for My Mk1 XR2 in grey request. Its a nice colour that would compliment the standard XR2 look instead of ST Electric Orange and Imperial Blue.

Had a look at the Audi Dealership today and Daytona Grey seems to be the one I like best...

Its just hard trying to imagine a Mk1 XR2 with the wheels and graphics before you fork out for paint. Same applies for any car i'm sure. You want to be 110% happy with it before you go ahead with it.
