Some of you may be aware that Jim, CP and myself run a business together making and installing automated gates and garage doors. Well in our time we've been to some rather nice houses and seen some special motors from Ferraris to Maybachs, Porkers to Bentley, you get the idea. Well the other day we were set to automate a garage door of a relatively humble house and found this lurking inside:

http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/gg54/MC1978gti/090920081151.jpg

The most interesting car yet :D . I believe it should be pushing out around 230-240bhp from the X16XEL.

It belongs to Broster a.k.a. Mark @ Jamsport.

That looks cool for a corsa lol

Im liking the carbon inner wings as they usually just have open space there dont they?
Makes it look much better/stronger imo:thumb:

I've been waiting to see this finished in its next guise. Last I saw it, was when it was still parked in Jamsports premises in a TV feature, so it must've progressed a little, even if only down the road.

Mad engine though. Bet it will sound cool at full chat.

Its the way forward. Jim and CP both feel the benefit of home automation, and I will follow. Mine will be set to open and turn on the downlighters to illuminate the beast. I was going to include a smoke machine but Jim thought that was going too far. lol

Travelling at roughly 140 - 150mph on the bumper of a police Land Rover with a black undercover 5-series in front, a police bike in front of him and a grey undercover mk5 Golf GTi following the whole thing weaving though the lanes.

big fan of brosters car.. ive envyed that engine for years. Is that bhp figure equaiting to 150bhp-per litre ish??
Are these X16XEL's handier to mod than the usual X16XE? or is it just because theyre newer?

Anyways; working at halfords of course i generally see and work on normal/ usual-stuff but there are many odd exceptions.. heres a few ive managed to catch..

I usually look through at this:

http://www.triginstruments.co.nz/catalog/images/staff_alg55eb_x.jpg

Through one of these:

http://www.fone.net/~bobk/Earthship/M%20and%20Theo.jpg

Sometimes I decide how much of this to cut off:

http://www.railway-technical.com/Flat-bottom-rail.jpg

Before they can use these:

http://www.geismar.com/siteflashpublic/imagespublic/TH.jpg

To do this:

http://content.edgar-online.com/edgar_conv_img/2007/06/12/0000702165-07-000154_TJDIMG037.JPG

Sometimes, however if I'm unluckey enough to work days, then I have to avoid these coonts:

http://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/uploadedImages/Information/Getting_Here/train.jpg

Right now, I'm working just off Country Side (Far end) of these platforms on the left, they're doing some works for the Olympics @ Stratford right next to the track.
