Waiting on GAZ but project can't wait?

Ok,

So I have placed and order with Gaz for their coilovers about 2 weeks ago.Not a big deal they said it could take a while, however I have a man welding the engine bay up next weekend and putting my new engine in the bay.It will only be bolted as its easyer for me.

The car is a mk1 saloon 1.2 . The new engine going in is a c16xe.

So the question can the original suspension take the weight until i get my new coilovers.The car will not be driven for a good while yet but i will still need to push the car in/out the garage.

Any idea's

If your only pushing the car in and out the garage, cant see why it should be an issue TBH.

There should be enough pics scattered about the project threads tbh.

If you are re-using the top mounts from your existing struts, then you will be needing spring compressors & the knowledge of stripping down the struts to enable you to get the top mounts off.
