Anyone had it done? did you have to get your wings resprayed or did you get frisky with the hot air gun?
Bodyshop did my old hatch without respraying.

Bodyshop did my rear arches aswell, no paint needed. I attempted my fronts: paint needed lol
depends how wide you want. mine are rolled so far to fit 7j offset 25, so that needed paint lol
Make an arch roller and get out the heat gun if you are just rolling the lips lol

try trimming the arch lip with a grinder. worked with mine and dont affect the paintwork

If you do it yourself be carefull because it's sooo easy to crack the paint.
Take it to a body shop and if they crack it they can sort it out lol.

Will vary. Pop down and see them, they will give you a quote there and then.

on the rears of my hatch, the person that did it used some mole grips to start off bending the lip up slightly, then used a hammer to hit them up, but held on a piece of wood on the outside to prevent deforming the panel

Depends if its the front or back your taking a grinder to mate
The fronts should be OK but I wouldn't grind the back ones personally I'd get them folded-up instead of grinded off
As the back 1/4 panel is on with the spot-welds that are on the arch lip it could cause some long term problems with the panel if you grind off the spot-welds...

panel hammer masking tape and dolly sorted :)
Just grind back to the spot welds, not past....
Thats what i did with mine to give a vit of extra clearence for track etc
I hit my rear arches up with a hammer/wood block and they needed a skim of filler after, not just paint lol
I've recently rolled a front wing by lying it flat face-down on a wooden table and hitting the lip with a hammer, and it didn't bend out of shape at all. Paint probably cracked though.
