no fuel or spark, help!

i fitted my 1.2spi nova with a cav 1.8 spi, i was told that i can use the 1.2 wiring loom with the 1.8 engine and ecu. iv plugged it all in ang got it to turn over but not fire up, theres no spark or fuel and i dont know why as both cars were running before being stripped, please help!

Dont think you can use the 1.2 loom on a 1.8, the 1.8 has extra things(egr etc).
Does the ecu light come on with ignition?

no there is no ecu light when the ignition is on or when its cranking

Sorted it mate, turns out there was no power to the coil or the fuel pump relay :D cheers for help
