arite guys.
ok heres how it goes, right i was hoping to replace/upgrade most things under the bonnet ( new cams new pulleys new lightened and balanced flywheel new altenator, the list goes on )
BUT work commitments arenet giving me enough time to get this all done by january which is my deadline to get it MOT'd so does any body know of any engine rebuilders that will do this for me at a good price? or any alternatives thanks

for the amount "engine builders" cost you would be better off buying all your bits and then taking a couple of days off to do it yourself

you could do all that in an evening. gearbox can be changed in 40 mins for a start

Can you give a more detailed list of what you want doing please?

P.S. I've moved this to mechanical forum.

these engines are used by short oval racers so there plenty of people who can do the work. What do you need doing? just as a guide a full std engine rebuild is about a grand, which is basically everything new.

Jim is asking for a reason. He thinks this may be a Job for 'Rifle Range Motorsport' but as said by others we need an idea of what you want to achieve.
