Thanks. So x16xel head would be best then? Im guessing this engine was designed to produce low down torque and acheived this through head design then after reading those threads? Im going to attempt to build a track/race engine. Sorry for the inexperience, trying to learn lol

No problem about asking questions, thats why the forum is here.

TBH theres not that much difference between the 3, it all depends on how far your going and how many thousands your spending on the engine, give us a basic idea of what you had in mind.

Not going to be spending thousands. Im not sure what bhp im really aiming for either, probably around 150 maybe 160. Im currently studying motorsport engineering at university and do a bit about engine enhancement. Im designing the inlet and exhaust to flow as best possible and my friend is making it. I want to make the cylinder head as best flowing as possible but wanted to start with best head. I havnt got the money for throttle bodies, but when ive got the money ill get it re-mapped with aftermarket management. I read that the engine can cope with up to 160bhp on standard internals so dont really want to go past that figure. Can anyone help with what they have acheived with c/x16xe's? Or just help on how to acheive that approx power figure?
