Hello everyone,
I've done a lot of research here but i can't get a conclusion...i have a nova 1.4 sri with k&n panel filter...i was wondering to change the manifold...it worth's the money?...I was looking for a 4-2-1 but i can't find it... The Gsi manifold is the same as the SRi?
Which is the best way to get a cold air feed direct to the airbox?
THanks a Lot from Portugal...

How much research?! lol have a look in here.. http://www.pngclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=93430
take out the filler panel from by the radiator & get some heater pipe from a scrap yard. then cut a hole, fix the pipe in & re-fit it

Hello
I've read the article about tuning 1.4 8v motors....what i need to know is if there is any brand making a 4-2-1 manifold to this motor...i just can find the sportex and ashley ones...:(
The cold air feed from an astra mk4 is plug&play with my air filter box?
Thanks

I had a 4 branch manifold on my c14se, cant remember who it was made by, but i had to weld on a boss for the lambda though. Ashley one should be fine. A simple bit of large diameter hose will suffice for a cold air feed.

hello pete...ashley one seem pretty good but it is 4-1 right?...I was interested in 4-2-1 setup, because i'm interested in low end torque and not torque in high revs...:( 4-2-1 seems a little dificult to find?

Yeah i think mine was a 4-1. 4-2-1 would probably mean a custom job.

with that 4-1 you can get low end torque?...did you notice changes in car response?...it's worth the money?
sorry for so many questions :D

TBH it seemed to make an improvement. I also had a cone air filter with a large silicone inlet hose. And a heavy right foot, lol. It seemed quick for a 1400 8v IMO.

Hello
I've decided my self...i will keep the original manifold...i was wondering just changing the hose that connects the manifold and the cat...to a stainless steel one...where i can get that?
thanks a lot
