5door nova to buy or not to buy!

Well a friend of mine's brother bought a nova and then ****ed off to iraq now he's willing to sell me it but is it worth £300 and its a 5door(easy to mod or not?) i havent realy checked it out ive been told to check places like the crossmember and all that all ive checked is the bodywork


Can anyone give me some advise :D

For a 5 door hatch I'd want it to be near mint for £300. With Novas check for rust literally everywhere, take a torch with you and wear some scruffy clothes so you can look underneath it.

If bodykits you mean SR or GSI bumpers then yes it will be easy. After market kit don't suit a nova, with a few possible exceptions.

If you want a giant spoiler etc, just get a saxo instead.

lol i meant gsi bumpers so thanks and id never have a french car it would just give up like they do in wars :D

i, therefore, retract my earlier statement...

only problem i can see with a gsi bodykit is the "kick" at the back of the skirt wont line up ith the rear doors. i once posed this question for my 'loon, and was old to either cut the kick and mould it to the door, or use two front sections of skirt as one whole one.

if it doesnt make any sense, blame the beer...
