6 bolts around the outside. Middle one removes the one for the cambelt

forget the drill, every xe/let has come through the garage I had to remove the pulley with a hammer an chisel. When youve done it a million times its quicker than getting the correct tool lol

right i had a go at this tonight and the socket chewed the head as i thought it would as they were a bit rusty. so this deal with the hammer and chisel do you just take the head off it? :thumb:

No you hit the edge of the head at an angle as to apply an anticlockwise force to it. Basically undo it by tapping it round (wil probably be more of a hitting it very hard as opposed to tapping it.)

Mine were rusty on my XEV'd vectra, came out without a problem, maybe I'm just lucky, lol.

its a splined socket not a normal one its a tight fit when you use the right one. Hammer the socket to sort of shock it and it should come off. :thumb:
