e16se gasket set

im in the middle of doing a headgasket job on me nova, and noticed the head gasket kit ces supplied me is totally the wrong 1, as the kit doesnt incude injector seals and the inlet manifold gasket is suited for the square port head like the nz's . was just wondering will a headset for a c16se and c14se do? cheers dyl :D

no head set ive ever had comes with injector seals so your out of luck on that one. the c14 and c16se head sets will come with the right inlet gasket tho. imo if it is just the inlet gasket you want go to your local motor factors and buy that by itself

cheers fella. head gasket itself looks 2 small and the dowls are much larger than holes on the headgasket. :)

Hmm, they all have the same sized dowels on ohc nova engines.......

Is it definently a 1600 gasket set? Probably to a c16nz

well ring up the place you got it from and quote them the kit number and see what it comes back as. if its anything other than what you ordered hurl abuse at them and get them to get the right one

I've found this many times before. The kit listed for the 16SE Nova is wrong and comes with the square inlet gasket! Take it back, and get one from a C16SE Astra and it should be fine.

ive just got a head set for a 1.6, got sent the z16se first...wtf?


but then i ordered the c16se, came with all the right gaskets.
