Hi all

Listed a few times as i get interest then nothing materialises... Loking to get it gone so i cen get another XE to rebuild :)

I have...

GTE 1.6 8v engine (head off atm for inspection but comes with head gasket set)
GTE F13 CR Gearbox
GTE engine loom
GTE Fuel Tank
GTE Pump

Can't think what else i have...

I also have my old track project which has a 1.2, paint isn't great but structually sound! just did the headgasket on it. Offers.

Everything need bar the shafts... Sdaly I'll be keeping them for my XE as spares.

Open to offers! or, as per forum rules £500 the lot :D

Need gone, had it lying around too long. Its still full of oil so no seizing.

the red one will drive... Its been standing for 1year and rolls effortlessly... brakes haven't seized, had new wheel bearings before i bought it. as said, needs a respray...

Me and CoupeUK are going to be "tinkering" tomorrow so will get some pics. Its red, it has some scrapes but no serious rust. Ideal project. Would easily pass an mot but i don't have time living in Leamington. Need the lock-up to put my white XE in. Going to start driving the Manta again... :)

On behalf of Chimp007_UK, engine code will be C16SE which is the same as a GSi engine apart from a different injection system. As far as i'm aware there was no leaks or rattles, it came from a running car that had a knock.

Delivery might be a problem, where are you based for the record?

So which Engine is best the C16SE OR E16SE?Or is there anymore?That i am unaware of?Im not really gend up on Nova's!

Hi Craig,

Mine is the early GTE dizzy version, as said by paul (cheers mate) it was runing sweet as a nut before hand. I had an accident and removed the engine and was in the process of rebuilding it and transplating it into the red 1.2 shell, but i bought a c20seh nova and then an xe nova, so it got put aside and unfinished. i think i have pics of the bores etc. I was running modified air box, k&n panel filter, fse, grp a manifold and exhaust. The engine will come in standard but will need an airbox/airfilter. I don't think i can deliver to Carlisle. I "might" be able to bring it to Coventry area for collection...

Well it sounds quite a good Engine mate,and i would be pretty intrested,but if you cant deliver then looks like im going to have to let this go,as even Coventry is a good 4hours just to get there for me,then another 4hours back home.

The engine will come with standard pressure reg, and the driver's side front wing has the edge spraying in grey primer, although wing has no rust. I was going to respray the shell...
