They do Gas and Oil shocks, you'll be looking Gas if your lowering.
They are budget shocks usually sold by motorfactors as replacements and I wouldnt recommend them for a performance car.
But for a roadcar they'll be spot on.

Would be for a road car, might have a set up forsale soon
Freshly painted in yellow
Would £50 seem reasonable for them ? They came off a Nova lowered 60mm all round

i had a set of kyb's on one of my novas. when my brother had it on the road it handled well..but they were the gas ones (orange)..
yeah £50 sound ok aslong as they are in good working condition mate..

had these on a few nova's and corsa's. the damper on gas one's goes around 1 inch lower than a set of koni adjustables i had on nova lol was well shocked.
i liked them not as good as my coil-overs tho :)

Aye the condition is good, no leeks or anything
I'll see if I can get them shifted for about 40/50 quid :)

KYB do Black, Orange & Gold specs. I had the Orange ones years back from Novatech IIRC & was chuffed with them.
KYB are big in the US & especially in the Beetle & Bus scene.
do you know the differnce between them craig as im basing my opinion on the gold ones

I use KYB Excel Gas shocks all round with my H&R springs. Have to say for the price I'm very happy, seems to have matched well with the springs I got. No one has complained about ride comfort or handling in the 18 months they've been in use.
