lol, As they have been painted you will need to strip the paint. Ideally you want the alloy so you can polish it. Just paint them silver??!!

they were silver before but i want a really shiny chrome like finish to match my rollcage and petrol cap etc, just looking for some advise as i dont want to ruin the wheels, so its ok to use nitromorse and strip the paint off?

nitromors could take a while, well it did on a powdercoated Compomotive MO anyway, i gave up in the end, will be getting them sandblasted!

strip them right back with paint stripper or get them shot blasted or acid dipped then take any imperfections out with wet and dry start 400 then work up to 1200 then the highest grade wet then its a Case of metal polish time then a polishing kit with a mop and polishing paste
or take them some were to be done and pay a £££

yeah just dont leave it on over night, you may start with a 16" rim and end up with a 15" lol
