Kent AST1 cam
Weber 32/34 DMTL carb with K&N
Full sportex zorst including tubeular (*spelling) manifold
Bosch super 4 plugs/Bosch leads

i think 80+ cos it feels much quicker than it was :wink:

I like the way you all think (around 90) but we will see, will be good if it is that high cos i will be able to compete with the corsa 1.4 16v's round here :twisted: :D :twisted: :P

i hope all the previous estimates are bhp at the flywheel.
if its bhp at the wheels it will be around 70 any more than 75 and the rollers need calibrating.

Well it was a bit lower than i hoped
63 bhp at the wheels :o anyone know how to convert this to a flywheel figure????

in the cars defence it was pinking like foook between 2-3K
the tester said that it was the combustion areas of the pistons and head which were not matched and so were not allowing all the fuel to burn correctly.
Would a thicker head gasket help (or 2 standard gaskets)?? if not it looks like the 1.4 head with crap ports is going back on cos i cant afford to get it ported :(

thats about right, you lose 25 - 30 bhp through the transmission. (so add 25 - 30 for the fly wheels figure)

I didnt think it was that much.... but that means 88-93bhp :D :D :D
not as bad as i thought

now to sort the pinking, think i will get a compression tester and see whats what before i start buying head gaskets and the like
