Right guys, i'm trying to sell my fiesta via pistonheads (I have a premium advert) and yesterday i got an e-mail asking how much i would want for it and just the condition and so on...i replied saying how much i want etc. Got this reply not too long ago:

Hello
thanks for your return email. i am willing to pay for
the price you
mention for your item, it is fair enough.....
The Check that will be issued will include the money
for the sales
of your item + the shipping cost and my commission.
The Check would
be drawn on a UK bank . I would like to restate
clearly that i have
a shipping agent who would take good care of this. So
you do not
need to bother yourself with the shipment. As a matter
of fact, my
shipper is not coming for your item alone, many others
items he's
to pick up along with yours. So, i will like us to
treat this
transaction very urgent.

You will be required to cash the check and deduct the
funds for the
sales of your item and have the excess funds sent to
my shipper via
Western Union Money Transfer at one of their outlets
around you in
order to schedule the pick up of the item.

All neccesary transfer papers will be dully signed by
the shipper
on behalf of my client (IF THERE IS ANY) when the
shipping agents
come for the pick up of the item.

I will be willing to entertain more of your questions
that might
arise . If you really show willingness and would
really want to
sell this item fast, please provide your CONTACT FULL
NAME,
PHYSICAL ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER,STATE, COUNTRY so that I can have
it forwarded
to my client for immediate payment issuance.

I await you quick response.
Many thanks...

I'm a bit confused by that. Just want to know if anyone has had anything like that before  whether i should reply or just steer clear of it...as sounds a bit suspect.

Just want some opinions on it aswell. Thanks.

I read as far as :

Hello
thanks for your return email.

LMFAO yeah, its a scam. Either tell them you're only prepared to sell the car cash on collection (in person), or only to a UK buyer etc. OR... do what I did when I sold my old hatchback and have some fun with them :D

[edit] LOL just found the old thread, back from when I had my old Nova up for sale lol lol lol

Cool, thought it was. Just wanted to make sure i wasn't just blowing them away if it was genuine. Was a bit of a give away by the layout and spelling. lol

Cheers guys, just wanted other opinions.
