AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHH HHHHH :mad:
Im so pissed off. 1st day on the road since the engine change and the ****ing heap of **** breaks down.
drive to garage, fill up with petrol and when i go to start it.................nothing.
Flat as a pancake. They garage jumped it but it wasnt charging so stopped. Towed home, once again!
Good job there wasnt a hammer to hand!

I sympathise.
Just insured mine & will be hitting the road soon, so expect a similar thread from me. LOL
Alternators been connected wrong :thumb: a simple mistake TBH.

Its not too bad a fix. Just need part of the printed circuit board on the back of the clocks souldered.
Still ****ing anoying
Ive just had mine out, found a few problems but nothing too bad.

Lucky its not the alternator as they are a pig of a job to change! I knew it wasnt that as its been in for a month and run fine.
Its back together and running fine now :)
What was the prob then????

Somewhere in the chargeing circuit it needs to run through the clocks, for the battery metre i presume.
With the damaged circuit this as not happeneing. I bridged the gap and the battery gauge started working so i jusr souldered it.
All sorted now :thumb:

ill give it a good clean over the weekend and get some pics up. Its pitted with being sat about for nearly 2 years!
A good machine polish should sort it out

No, not yet. As John H will probably agree, im ****ing useless. The wheels are still with him, however i have paid for them.
I will be arranging a courier to collect them for next week if i pull my finger out of my ****!
Thought you had them refurbed? Did you get John to have them done his end?
Will look cool with them on anyhoo!
