Fuel Leaking

I'm convinced that my Mk1 nova is leaking fuel, are there any specific places that i should check? Is this common, i think it failed for a fuel leak about 4 years ago.

all ya can do is jack up the car on the drivers side and check everywhere there is a join, onto the tank, in the engine bay. see if any bits of pipe were joined into the line and are leaking. check for sections of the line possibly hanging down. :wink:

get car up,DONT USE THE SPARE WHEEL JACK!!!!
use axle stands or ramps
2 pipes are coming outa the tank,proply the feul return one rotten 2 fuck

Yep, check the sender pipes from the fuel tank. Mine all perished big style and needed replacing. Could smell petrol for a while before it really started to leak. You definately want to get it sorted, not a thing you want to put off in case it's dangerous for you to drive.
