been refurbing an old matchbox astra i bought a while ago over the past 4 days, weekend plus ive been off with a cold the past 2 days...

basically started life like this, this is my old police one, not the one thats been refurbed, the refurbed one is an old rally one.. it had no paint or wheels..

i want one !!

I used to take hammers to mine and red pens to make them look like they crashed lol

pmsl - me too! Used to get me mums lipstick and smear it all over the front and on the carpet where the "road" was to simulate blood!

Dave - it needs slamming! roll the arches!

its 1:57 mate, its the small ones, you can take them apart by drilling the rivets out, inetrchange the wheels (they just unclip) and then use bits like rollcage alloys etc from other cars and glue them on. simple really.. love it myself lol :thumb:

Nice one lol

Top marks for not bending the wire 'axle' when removing wheels, or was I a ham fisted child? lol

lol Good stuff, when I played with matchbox cars I wasn't allowed knives!

I used to swap wheels etc on 1:18 scale models, Countach with x4 deep rims ftw lol
