r the slam panels on the mk1 and 2 different???

I think they are. If I remember a post from a guy up by me thats just rebuilt his gte front end, the holes for the mk2 grill (the 4 clips) arent on the mk1 slam panel - he was having probs fitting it. The light housings are also bigger on the mk2 as opposed to the mk1 (dunno if this makes a difference to the slam panel mind)

Could be wrong though

Check with vauxhall - theyll set u right.
