Yo everyone just been flicking through 'the strangers' watched the end scene, pretty ropey to be honest i think its a pretty sick film just for that bit alone!
So i just thought id ask what the most disturbing/grim films you have seen are?
I'm thinking along the lines of deliverance/the hills have eyes (the original) etc

aye i did, feck me that was wrong, the bit i didnt like in the first one is when it shows a close up of a foot strapped in to a chair and then a set of garden sheers about to start cutting the toes off the foot, made me cringe and look away
oh when he fell off the chair lol you wouldnt do that you know what would happen. id just fall to the side and slide to a knife and cut him up
The Hills have Eyes
Texas Chain Saw Masacre, the origional
The Hills have Eyes 2
The Devils Rejects
Awesome, fantastic and all worth watching.
The Hills have Eyes
The Hills have Eyes 2
Im yet to see these, worth the watch then, do they make you jump
I havent actually seen the first but I have the second. I've seen clips and have had reports of the first but the second is SICK.
Inbred guys rape, torture, kill and eat people. If you like that sort of thing then ooooh yes, its well for you.
Dont watch it with your missus (if applicable)
i have no missus so thats ok, think ill watch it later
Maybe not has to be the 2nd one
Hmm, none of these mentioned I find too sick or disturbing tbh. I find most shock & gore films pretty lame tbh, the likes of Saw and Hostel just try too hard.
Watch the first one and give me a review first though.
First one of what? Saw/Hostel?
the hills have eyes, it wont let me load it so has tot be the 2nd one

the origonal saw is by far the best. as that makes you think a little. the rest were poor imo.
also w**k in the woods 5 is quite disgusting if your into that kind of stuff
I dont find gorey (sp?) films disturbing, as razor says, its as if theyre trying to hard.
Films that disturb me are ones that you know the person who wrote the story has psychological problems.
Theres a small production American called Joe Swanberg, you might of seen one of his films - L0L, thats a bit disturbing, but added to his others, you feel funny anyway after viewing.
Has anyone seen Irreversible? There's a rape scene in that that makes me cringe, I just can't watch it.
Cabin Fever made me feel physically sick, and The Grudge scares the pants off me.
Someone tell me what happened at the end of Strangers? I wanted to see it but I just didn't get round to it.
The Grudge scares the pants off me.
American one? Try watching the original Japanese version, Ju-On. Far, far scarier. Same as Ring (and the following movies), the Jap versions were much darker.

I've seen the Japanese version of the ring, and it puts the American one to shame. Which is why I won't watch the Japanese version of The Grudge.

Seeing as you asked so nicely... Wondered who Pate was.
Family goes on a roadtrip in a winnebago. Get lost ask for directions, get attacked by zombie messed up wierdos. Cue lots of gore, attempted rape by one of the zombies.... Proper messed up IMO! Didnt know there was a second one.
Yeah the second one. Know the attempted Rape in the first one......
The follow up is revealed.

...."because you were home"
also the saw films, not scary, just abit stomach turning, no matter how funny i find violence (fake violence might i add) i still cant help feeling physically sick at some parts, i mean, WHO thought up of drowning someone in blended pig, im going to leave it there lol

Wouldn't mind seeing Hostel as it looks very good and heard alot of good stuff about it.

Meh, if you've watched the Saw movies then there's nothing "new" to see in Hostel IMO.
Severance, though... better lol

"i am NOT staring at your winky!" lol

strangers is a really boring film not worth watching.
the grudge was the fill i was trying to think of thats very good sos the hills have eyes 1&2 like the saw films too.
the deliverance was not disturbing, but the hillbilly gay rape scenes, 'SQUEAL LIKE A PIG, BOY!!' & 'THAT'S A PRETTY MOUTH' etc, are brilliantly shocking first time round.
I hated Hostel. I had heard it was meant to be gory, but I just really didn't like it at all.
I think my first viewing of hellraiser was pretty impressive.

i saw The Strangers the other day, and i gotta say it was a bit ...well i dont really know how to describe it, but i mean the whole really slow stabbing scene at the end, pretty grim...
But apart from that id have to say Hostel, the scene where he gets his achilies tendon cut...geezy mcrezzy thats gore!!
Tidy Max
02-10-08, 09:59 PM
