any ideas anyone? even roughly?

ive got some 17's with 40 tires on. ive also got a wide arch body kit on the way. does anyone know how much im going to be able to lower it roughly. its gonna have no bk seat so not too much weight in the car. whats the best kinda set up im gonna get with springs and shocks and how much is this roughly? and its a mk1 1.2 if that helps. thanks for ne thing, jon

with the wide arch kit and standard track you can drop the car as much as you want. any more than 60 would be crazy anyway. but you will need to experiment with offset so you actually fill the arch. who did ya buy the kit off?

the good man colin smith sold me the kit. is that 60mm lower than a 1.2 or 60mm lower than a gte/ gsi etc. which would be lower than my 1.2 by 120mm? im confused

jon, the suspension kits are designed for SR/GTE/GSI or for non sr/gte etc, so the 60mm kit for your car will lower it by 60mm! SR's etc are only approx 10mm lower than standard models anyway :)
