View Full Version : Clutch on a cav weasel?
Quick one for anyone who might know, does the clutch on the izuzu 1700td engine drop out of the inspection cover underneath like it does on a nova, just wondering if its gonna be a box off job or an easy one?
Cheers in advance for any help peeps:thumb:

in your own words, not got a pot of glue tbh, but I've a strange feeling that an isuzu lump will have a flat fly.

mine had a bot flywheel, attached to a F17 which had an inspection plate
Ive not got a clue what box is on it though, so whats ya reckon its possibly a box off jobbie then, poo sticks more expense then as i really cba to do it myself due to a horrible bout of lazyitis lol

just do the tune, and leave it in 4th lol
Err i would do but like i said at pv i darent do it in case i break me engine lol
Besides if i did/do the white ring mod thing then it would just spin the clutch and nothing else haha!
I did 1 before and it was a box off job.Left it hanging in the subframe
Andys just burst my bubble now then cheers bud lol
I dont know why im getting nervous about it as A1 are doing it for me sometime this week but obviously if its an inspection plate job then its gonna be a lot cheaper:thumb:
Fukk me, you lazy bastad! Why dont you do it yourself lol Come on you have seen me do enough of 'emlol
Cos im lazy for one, and dont have the tools/space/patience to do it and plus i can drop me cav off @ A1 and wander back to work while they do it lol
If it's a pot fly, the box will have to come out, still not a massive job tbh, just drop the n/s shaft out, and drop the box away.

i did mine on my cav afew months ago though could do it through inspection plate to find it was box out job 38quid for clutch a clutch place wanted 180ish to do
Ive already got my clutch which was 65+vat for the kit and if its an inspection plate job will only be around 40-50 squid thats why im hoping itg will be lol
Mate, I think they're box off Jobbies, but keep me posted as I need to do the same in my Oooorrrr TD as well.
