poll 1.3t40 or 1.6gte

right been thinking about getting car for road rallying and ive been thinking about getting mk2 xr2, corsa sri 16v, 106 rallye, etc. but keep coming back to a nova :) so should i go with 1.3 with twin 40's or 1.6 gte engine
your opinons please

i think there are certain rules that 1.6 t40s would brake but i know someone who did rally with 1.3 with t40's and that was ok because the sport even though that car was a sr
but 1.6 t40's would be good for stage rallies

Either the 1.3 T40 or stick some 40's on the GTE engine :)

Personally, for cheap effective power, a 1600 with a few more tweaked bits. Sod using carbs altogether, as soon as you hit a water splash and muddy water launch's up the firewall soaking the trumpets/sock filters you'll see my point ;)

im a fan of the 1.3 on t40's but as mike pointed out one water splash that would be a problem so 1.6 16v with no t40's.
