I personally wouldn't expect to pay less than ?750 and no more than ?1000.

You can always have a look online for a price for standard. I tend to look at MOT, Tax, FSH, Tyres, Exhaust, Suspension in that order. Also look in the cars for sale, there may be something similar to give you a guide.

If its the same one that got rear ended prob ?450 - ?500

Then you do have some nice extras - ?750?

Accident damaged cars (especially old ones) usually have a lower price as the perception by any potential buyer is that its been in a smash and therefore has a "history"

I'd say ?650 +- a bit

but then we know its been in a smash (at least one).

Bear in mind you can pick up a decent GSi for ?750 with 80k on the clock

I'd say about 800 quid neil.
It looks smart, and from what I've seen it runs ok.
You have looked after it reasonably well and spent a fair bit on it to keep it looking and driving nice.

Its history aside - it is a pretty nice car - good base for a project for someone.

When you planning on selling it?

I didn't know about accident damage, I'd say ?650-?850.

More if i sold it.

The last car i sold, i bought it for ?800, spent a little bit on it, ragged the fuck out of the engine for a year, so it rattled like hell, and sold it on for ?1100 next year. And all this for a 1986 C-reg 1.2 Nova merit. Complete with a shit-load of rust. Bought myself a designer sheepskin coat with the proceeds. Nice.
