to save my carb from icing over,
could i attach one of these to the back of the filer lol

I bought one of those things a few years back for a nova with a non functioning heater, it was totally useless. I think my body provided way more heat than that thing. I ended up chucking it and just wore gloves instead.

the air flow rate thru an engine would need a propane space heater to have any effect... whats wrong with a simple warm air pipe, like vauxhall used to fit?

i can not use the pan cake filter as i dont have the adaptor lol

idea :)
get some 1mm sheet alloy, bend it around the filter, drill a big hole in it, get some pipe, and bend it down to the manifold, SORTED :p
Why dont you just fit the old air filter setup back on lol.

MIDLAND MINCER TO THE RESCUE lol
sorted i blasted -8 degrees air down it, at around 6000rpm for 30 seconds
still revs nice and free,
cost £0

Of corse it ran fine.It's still in the kitchen lol.

Fit injection ffs lol
Theres a reason everycar manufacturer got rid of carbs lol
if it is a dmtl carb PM me I have some spare adapters forr std filters.
