put the new manifold on the nova, but the one i put on doesnt have the bit for lambda sensor and i was told that it could mess up all the fuel and engine and all sorts if i dont replace it. i was also told to put the sensor back in, you need to drill a hole and weld the bracket which the sensor screws into. is there any other way to do this because i dont have a welder and dont want to get it welded in. anybody know? thanks

it needs to be done on the collecter i think

needs to be at the collector. or you can swap it with someone that has one with a lambda boss fitted.

what manifold is it? its it a steel 4-1 or an orginal cast sr item ?

its manifold off my 1.4 sr its a 4 2 1 and the one i had on there was a 4 1 and it didnt fit the exhaust i wanted to put on, but the old manifold had lamda sensor. ill just do that then weld in a thingie

edit: boss

another edit: Where can i get it from would they still stock it at the local vauxhall spares placed do you know

the problem is welding cast, you need to get it hot to weld to it :)

because the exhaust i have didnt fit that downpipe, and the downpipe that it does fit doesnt fit on the original manifold

Use a nova sri manifold. Problem solved

Its a cast 4-2 manifold, with a 2-1 downpipe yes
