Corsa Sport Radio

Hello just wondered if any one can offer any advice, my girlfriend has a corsa sport shes just had the power boost valve taken off and now the standard radio wont work the lad who took it off said he had to disconnect the bat so now i need to put the code in which ive got bout its saying SAFE and not asking for the CODE ive held the AS button down but it aint working.

Which make and model is the stereo?

holding the AS button down, THEN turning the radio on while the AS is held down? Should bleep, if not has the radio code been entered incorrectly already?
