let keeps throwing same codess at me

well, my let keeps throwing crankshaft position sensor no signal change at me and knock sensor no signal change but ive changed both to ones a know are good! why does it keep doing this?

Are you doing the test with the engine not running?
If so theres your crank sensor fault, engine aint running.

As for the knock sensor, definently got the right plug on it? (the red one)?

most xe's and let's will bring up code 31 (crank sensors) if its not running as it cant see a signal from the sensor (as the trigger wheel is not moving)

knock sensor if its an earlier let you will have two matching plugs by the kock sensor and idle speed control valve. one plug is red one is black. the black is for the ISCV the red plug is for the knock sensor, make sure these are plugged in the correct places.

ya the red ones on it, its running perfect other than that. ill try one more knock sensor in her then ill checkt he wiring, totally forgot about the car not running and the crank sensor!lol

Does the xe light flash up when driving?
Or are you just flashing the codes out to see what it had stored?

Alan, Unplug the ECU for a few hours and plug it back in (to reset it). Then start the car and check for code's whilst its running.
