What Dials?

G'day all...

I was just thinking what dials would I need to use once me LET goes in?

At the mo I have the SR 6 dial set (the yellow needle dials) which I love (except for the backlight which is another story).

When I do the conversion, does the F20 box have a cable driven speedo or is it electronic? If it is cable driven can it be used on the Nova dials and still remain its accuracy?

Is it still possible to use the Nova dials with the F20? Yes it only shows 130mph on the clocks but for the time being it dont bother me. I just like the fact that all the vital instruments are in one place and theres no need to start cutting my dash. Im not going out to set a land speed record so I can live with 130mph clocks for the meanwhile.

The F20 is a mechanical type speedo. It'll be fine as is. I prefer the 6 dial clocks over anything else tbh.

You might want to look out for a mechanical F28 box as LETs spit up F20's in no time at all.

Cheers Craig, as I said I like the 6 dials so they will do me fine for a while.

As for the F20 been getting mixed reviews about their reliability with LET's. Some saying they have been ok and others going along the lines of 'it wont last long'

Thats probably one area that I am thinking about. :thumb:
