this isn't nova related but i would apreciate any help.
im buying a Renault 5 gtt soon but the turbo actuator has broke, what does the actuator do?
is the car still drivable?
where can i get one and what am i looking for and how much?

The actuator controlls the boost, it basically just opens and closes a valve (wastegate) to controll the amount of boost.
How is it knackered ?
If its stuck open (unlikely) then it won't boost, if its stuck shut then it won't be able to controll the boost (it should open when it reachs a set presure) so it'll just keep boosting untill it goes pop !!
Any aftermarket Renault tuner / suplier would be able to sort one, price - about £40 - £80 ??
