Ive got a starting problem which i thought was the starter motor as its just klicking, so went out today and bought a new starter motor and battery. just fitted it and its still just klicking? Any help would be great!

I heard it running about 4 weeks ago? how easy can an engine seize?

i had the same problem with my gte engine and ended up being leads. have a check and see if they are ok

put the car in gear and give it a rock :)

put it in neutral and get a socket on the main pulley bolt, (will be easier if you remove the spark plugs) make sure you can turn the engine over a couple of revolutions. if you can then obviously not siezed lol.

you want to make sure you have a couple of decent earths from the battery to the chassis and to the engine.

also the distributor could be way way out. this can stop it from starting and cause symptoms of the cars battery dead.

Clip a jump lead on the gearbox, and the other end to the battery NEGATIVE terminal.
Try it then
