Well, after a look through the ad's I found this little beauty for a pricely sum of £600. Needs a bit of welding here and there, shall be done asap, and needs painting. Shall be done in the next couple of months with a bit of luck!

Have to see what redtops are available without paying seven arms and nineteen legs for one!

Got the front end apart tonight, absoloutely amazed at the Lower X member, not one smidgen of rust, and looks original.

Was going to weld some new splash guards in tonight as the tinworms have been feasting. But got a bit stuck with the locker wheel nuts with no key lol They were on tight as feck too! So it was hammer time with the oldest slobberknocker mallet known to man! Worked a treat :thumb: ...

Oh yeh and to make me more aggrevated the garage floor still aint blimin dry, 1 week after painting it, what a cnutsack.

Well budget as it stands:

£112 in Cars bought: 2 litres of Glacier White, 1l Activator, 1l Thinners, 1tub of filler, 1 pack of red scotch, 1 box of 180gritt DA pads, 1 box of 240gritt DA pads

£17 in the Motorfactors bought: 1 tub of Fibreglass resin, 3 grinding wheels, 1 pack of filler applicators, 1 tin of Red Oxide primer, 1 roll of 3" Masking tape

Total £129

Injuries: 1 scratched eye, 4/5 cut fingers, new t-shirt required due to filler/blood stains

coming on nicely bet the masking of the front windows and the boot vinyl took you ages with just masking tape used, skirts going standard colour? cant wait to see it finished

Ben no door stickers as of yet mate. Got them ones made up.

Took about 2-3 hours to get it out. Was working in the dark, and had to cut shafts as couldn't get the wheels off. Pain in the ****.

was there not enough room to take the centre caps off and get the socket on the driveshafts.the split pins are a bit fiddley.
