^ what he said. Wet flat the hole wing, paying attention the the affected area, prime and paint. You doing this yourself or going to see a bodyshop?

try most things but want a close a match as possible so leave it to someone that knows what hes doing
Thats a new wing needed there bud its had birdsh*t on it for a while i had the same thing and it burns into the paint and rots it through and after a while a good hard poke with your finger will push it through!

bring the complete wing back to bare metal, prime and paint it
For an easy life id simply buy a pattern wing for £22.
IMO depends how rotten it is, sand it back, if you find even the smallest hole replace it.

imo take the wing off rub it down back to metal shove some primer on it and then give it the lad to spray it ull save alot becuase he wont have to mask anything if anything rub it back a bit more and some paint
rottern wing is a rottern wing, You have to paint it anyways so Get a new one... Job done.
once its set in thats it tough **** you got tinworm.

where u get a new wing for £22? if i can get it that cheep id prob just replace it save the hassle huh and be quicker!
Not need to wet flat, as its rust you'll wanna get it back to bare metal then treat with a rust killer, then etch and primer then paint.
New wing i would say.....
looks like you need a new bonnet as well

Dont spend time getting rid of it only for it to return in 6 months replace it with new panels

sel imperial
Typically crap... They make the ones with the welded on wrap around bit under the indicator. Hadrian replacement panels get my vote.
Going from the pic, it looks like its surface rust, not full on tin worm.
I'd say have it treated & repainted. Getting a proper panel fit like the car left the factory with is hard enough (sometimes impossible with pattern wings). If the rust isnt deep into the metal then have it sorted by your body man. If its about to go through the panel then I guess its new wing time, but IMO you ideally want a genuine wing if you care about your cars appearance. So try getting a 2nd hand genuine wing as new ones cost a bomb IF you can find one.
when we used to have an account with Hadrian they were sellng the same panels as sel imperial.
I'll be getting panels from Hadrians fairly soon. Were recommended to me by a couple of people.
Not heard of Sel imperial so can't comment.

Just check the panel fitment when you get it as it can be swapped if its not been painted.
