been looking for dirt cheap cd player around 50-60 pound, not to into mega I.C.E but still like a clear-ish sound but i cant see my self (or the point of spending silly money) on a cd player il hardly ever use

not bad - I've got a kenwood in my Nova. Whatever you buy make sure its got at least 45w and a couple of connectors for line out's at the back (red and white plugs) - that way you can add an amp.

Ebay's the way forward for a cheap but decent 2nd hand system. I bought a sony 10 disc auto changer that plugs in via a standard FM unit for £15! You just tune it in to 88.3FM and it overrides whatevers on that station to play your cd's! You have a little control screen as well. very cool.

eBay is actually still good for head units yer....

Got a refurbished Sony one for £32 quid, which is usually £85-90...well chuffed with it, 52w output, absolutely killing the dash speaker's I've left plugged in though lol

also things like gumtree is good as i seen ones very cheap but not the latest models.

hafords had some JVC's for £40 reduced from £69.99 on there web site!
