View Full Version : Still possible to buy brand new?
I think this has been asked before (sorry) but do vauxhall still stock Gsi front bumpers? And whats the damage to my pocket?

i remember there being talk at least 2 years ago that SOME dealers had them, but most were claiming to be out completely. I would assume there are none now unless its sitting at the back of a dusty small town vaux dealership.
at the time thew were about £109
Look in the front of total vaux there is a place in the first page/couple of pages that have them, they bought the last of GM`s stock of them and are £145, iirc someone on here bought one and confirmed they are indeed gen ones:thumb:

Googls Fintona Auto Spares, Co.Tyrone Northern Ireland. They still have them at what i think is £120 +P&P. SHould cost maybe £20 to post V-Max.
Benn (on Mig) think he's here too bought a new one from his dealer not long ago, around £100 (with discount I guess).

Sadly no longer available i'd say., I have one on order for Dan16v but its not looking hopefull, will know next week or so if they are NLS i've had a few recently but I must of had the last

Try Haleys garage in glasgow, the lad can get them there i think.
Im sure he sold some to lad gordon with the blue xe on bike carbs up here.

i payed £30 for a brand new one about 8weeks ago for my mate Gsi From a Little Shop About 20Min's form my house i see if he has got any more i don't think they are gm one tho well £30 it ant going to be is it lol

i phoned linsays of dumbuck in dumbarton they can get them 135quid.
i asked my parts manager today (vauxhall) they supersed to a new number
and can come for opel in gremany we done a fake order and was showing stock???? can get part number tomoorow????

To be honest, I wouldnt mind importing one brand spankers from the Cont if it was cheaper than buying one here, or worked out about the same, the price of second hand ones is getting stupid now, I see ChrisRST is asking 100 quid a piece without towing eye covers. Nearly as bad as Corsa GSI bumpers.
works out about 140 all in in.i will double check tomorrow and post the new part number!!!

the difference is, corsa gsi bumper brand new are usualy well over £200, if you want fogs and splitter too...
saying that, i bought a near enough new one for £50, then sold it for 100ish on ebay after around 1/2 years use

So I'm assuming Opel are still making them, or have plenty left.
What about places making pattern ones, I'm assuming it would be a big thing on here if there was anywhere.
I would have thought if Opelk can supply them, then Duick can get them - but I'm almost certain he said before they were all gone.
I picked one up for acustomer in jan, new from vx, had no probs came next day. £110 on trade club as they've been for afew years.

I work for the dealer!
I phoned my local dealer today who in April said he could still get them......not any longer!
So had a quick look around, and I think I may have found some. If I'm right, I'll post up the details.....I wanna make sure I get mine first! Fingers crossed.

Just got one, decided to stop by the place in question and the one he had was bare plastic, so I bought it there and then for £90. Part number is 90443248. He stocks loads of Nova stuff, so look him up. I fluked it really, just typed the part number into Google and his was one of the only results. The list of parts on the net is fairly accurate, although they no longer have a stock of GSI bumpers!

Kool, I had heard of that place but hadnt given it a thought. Im going to hold out untill xmas problery and hope i can find one then.
