Loon looks nice. Give us more detail on your plans, sounds interesting.

well the plan is to get rid of the 1.2 carb lump and put in a x16xel and gearbox from the zafira in, probaly have a alloy tank in boot with no rear seats and it is destined for a respray in white at some point, if anyone can give advice on the conversion then all will be good, just wanting to get the engine in and running before i start buying coilovers and brakes, i wont be driving it untill i have suspension and brakes setup aswell
My X16XEL went straight in using an F13 gearbox. Had to strip off the XEL mounts and use the nova ones. Was all pretty straight forward. I used DTA management and TB's though.

Nice, you wanna be polishing the outside of that stat housing & you will find a Zafira gearbox isnt ideal for fast road use. Ratio's widely spaced & a rather low final drive.
mite as well be a perfectionist lol the reason i was doing inside is so i can practice evenly enlarging the inside port before i do it on the head, can afford a new stat but not a new block atm :p
finished cleaning it up ready for painting,
