i would agree with hayz more and more ppl with money are just paying for their cars to be modified which takes away the point of modifying your car i think
I think its kinda backing of but only cause so many people act like twats. Feel that they cant cruise but have to drive like gits. Spoils it 4 every1.
Police r really stepping up on this spoiling it 4 some.
We've got major thing going on here at mo they stop everyone for the smallest things and giving on the spot penalties
But all i say there is a diffdernce between Boy Racer and cruisers
Cruisin is not a crime :D

well think u have to look at the national last weekend to see that cruising is far from dead !!!!!!
The police last week finally did the right thing by letting it go on, this way everyone was happy, we could have a cruise whilst they could monotor it safley and step in if needed, altho i feel that the fireworks were stoopid and dangerous !!!
Cruisin is not a crime, is like everyone says it only takes a few to wereck it :(

But if you are not a very technical person (like me) and have enough money to send you standard nova to a body shop and have everything imaginable done to it, why shouldn't you?
You car is still modified by the end of it, to your own specifications and this way you are no longer driving a standard car.
Wheres the fault in that?
on the plus side a nice good looknig fella to promote the burnouts:

well played, lmao
I think the point trying to be made wisewood is that any dickhead can take their car to a bodyshop and have work done to it, it's just that bit more special if you modify yourself.
I don't have a problem with it, although I've always tried to do as much stuff myself, technical or styling.

i realise that - but the problem is some people dont have the knowledge, patience or time to do stuff themselves. The places yu can pay to do it for you are there for that very reason are they not?
I just dont see any need to slag off people who pay to have it done for them... without knowing why they didn't do it themselves... seems a bit unfair. But i dont really care - so i will shut up now.

weisewood i didnt mean my comment like that, and i didnt mean to start off a massive debaite bout this.
what im saying is i h8 lil public skol boys who come out of skol, think there better than n e 1 else coz they have a jap tuned car or a done up VTS,
and u ask them how they did it and they jus say sumfing like
"i dont care long as it look good"
im trying to make the point that cruiseing now is jus 4 ova paid pricks who wanna make friends,
no afrfence ne 1 but it is my opion.

The police always turn up becasue they know they can do ppl for other crimes (Drink,Drugs,Car Tax,Wanted Criminals etc), which send their figures up, and all that have to do in a night every 2 weeks or so??
In my personal and highly controversion opinion.
"Cruises are full of people with too much money is cars they can only control in a straight line"
I put my thoughts on cruising in a post a couple of weeks ago.
Unfortunatley the "minority" are putting an end to cruising. If we want cruising to continue (whether it's full of people who modified the cars themselves or by others) we need to work together to drive these idiots out of cruising. How we go about that, I don't know.
Jim
well i think a very strong worded T-Shirt campaign
Bad boys and Girls go away
Now, come on tell me if its too strong?

I have now read the whole thread
No-one has made it harder to go cruising than cruisers than themselves.
It has been said before over and over again. You go to a cruise everthing is going brilliantly then a d1ckhead comes out in nearly kills someone or crashes into something cos s/he was acting like a c0ck  You also get the w@nkers that put oil down on the tarmac cos they havent got the power in their 1.0 sh1tters to do a burnout! Do you know how long it takes for oil to come of your tyres......FOOKING MONTHS. Imagine you drove through that and on the way home you crashed your pride and joy.........just think when you see people putting oil down instead of cheering for them (not aimed at anyone, its just a point).
If you go down to Basildon every week I can guarantee a car will be crashed and burnt out each time you go, its happened so many times in the past even more so recently. The point? They are probably stolen cars....
I dont blame some police forces for acting the way they do, I dont want these sort of pr1cks at my cruise. Cruising is getting harder because the police know that there will be idiots out there, and nowaday 9 times out of 10 they are BANG ON!
Please dont get me wrong, I know most of the people that attend a cruise are PROPER cruisers and car ENTHUSIASTS its just the 5% that ruin it for the others.
The demise of the cruising world is also due to the fact that as cruisers are at each other throats most of the time. In the beginning people were all working together.....its all change now especially with SLEAZY tactics going on from a certain legal cruise  (no names mentioned Mr B)
I guess legal cruises are the way forward (I didnt want to believe that a year ago but a lot has happened) but without people working with each other its just making things harder.
I have so much to say on this topic but I dont want to bore you all. I feel I have left so much out and that I could go on for much longer.
What would make things easier?
1. TAKE THE PR1CKS OUT OF CRUISING (but they aint going to learn)
2. LETS ALL WORK TOGETHER
3. LETS SUPPORT THESE LEGAL CRUISES (they are the way forward)
I'm sure there are loads more but I think these are more of the important ones (along with what I have said above)
By the way I am an illegal cruise organiser.
If you have any comment that you want to say about what I have written please do.
Thanks for reading :)
Thats a fucking good idea, go take pictures of all the dickheads and give them to everyone or even the police :o
Ive been to one of Scorpions illegal cruises and it was one of the best, there was some playing there but there was a designated area with no parked cars and no oil was put down. If you can't do it without oil, DON'T BOTHER! (Personally i wouldn't care if all the playing stopped but thats just my opinion) The cruise itself was in an industrial estate miles away from any houses etc. A police car turned up and just sat there, seemed to be fine.
What cruise organisers need to do is have common sense, no one wants to annoy other people but we do need to get rid of the 5% that spoil it for everyone else.

Cheers Breeny.
Its not asking much for a bit of common sense though is it............or maybe it is in some cases
