after months of thinking i have decided to turn my saloon into a track car
but have never actually seen one i will be leaving the rear seats in and putting a 1.6 8v in with twin 40's with polished head etc
a front and rear strut am unsure of a cage was thinking about a half cage i want it as light as possible without going to mad on stripping things out as its also an everyday car i will be starting as soon as funds start coming in
has anybody got any pictures or links of one not necasarilly a nova saloon but something similar thanks
steve :)

i cant see it making too much of a differance as the floor is the same shape and i need the seats in there for the family its my everyday car which is why i am not going to mad on it for now when i get something differant i will fully strip it

Do you have any idea how heavy Nova rear seats actually are though chap? They weight a funking tonne!!

no i dont i just assumed the saloon ones did not weigh too much because the shell is the same shape i think:confused:

if they are that heavy i can do away with them i suppose

slinging the rear seats will save you funk all as they are nothing like the hatch ones. they are literally two bits of foam. to be fair i wouldnt bother stripping any of it until you get another car. stripped cars are far to loud to be used as a family
