You dont need a conversion kit, theres nothing to convert.
Use nova ohc mounts, and shafts.
Done

When you say use nova ohc mounts and shafts? They the same mounts and shafts on all but 1 litres?

the shafts are the same on all novas , only the front driver mount is different on the 1.0 , as said just use one from another nova

Got mine on the road today. Nice option tbh. Feels pokey at the right revs.

This is what it looks like with the essential powerbox inlet.

Its the one from the 1600 8v that came out. Also same as any other 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 engine mount from a Nova.

Best I can do.

2nd'd.

When you get used to driving them(they lack low end pull), you can really get 1600 16v's shifting in a nova.

One area that does often cause concern with these transplants is the alternar belt & bottom pulley.

Some say you can keep the multi-V belt where as others say its too wide & hits the chassis leg. I chose to convert to the regular single-V belt, using an alt pully from an old alternator & the bottom pulley from a Nova SRi. Then source or make the alternator tensioning arm & calculate wahet length of belt to use.

like i said when i done mine, ive still got the wide belt and ive got plenty of room there

I used the pulley and alternator from the old 8v engine. Simple swap over.
