which will realease the most power and/or give the best noise on a 1.2i 8v? a complete induction kit or just a cone filter coming straight off the corsa box?

On a 1.2i with even less power than the carb model u need all the power u can get. I think that the induction kit will give u about 5 ponies where a cone filter will give you more like 2-3. So i would spend the lil extra adn go for the induction kit. It might also make it run better than a cone in the winter! :wink:

um the induction kit is probably exactly the same as buying the cone filter for the corsa box

the induction kit will supply their equivilent to the corsa box whereas the cone filter needs you to already have it

most induction kits are basically cone filters plus any fittings and fitments u'd need to attach the cone to the existing pipework

Right then... A cone filter is an induction kit, different name for the same thing. But here's my advice and I know of what I speak. Cones look good but a replacement panel filter of the same make i.e. K&N will give you more BHP for your money. This is quite a well known fact but we still buy cones. Drill a load of 1" holes in the bottom of the airbox and it'll still sound a bit more throaty :D than the original.
