I wana get the cam done after xmas on my sr, I'll probably end up getting it done at nova tech but I know just to buy it they will charge the earth, so I'll probably try to get every thing I need and then take it to them. Other than the cam, what should I need, e.g head gasket etc?

If the cam isn't too wild and no machining is required then all you'll need is a cam cover gasket and maybe a cam oil seal, you can compress the lifters, remove the followers and slide the cam out. Otherwise it's inlet, exhaust, head, cam cover gaskets and you may aswell do the valve stem seals whilst your at it.
