Selling my Astra which was being used by the wife since we got it in 2005.
1.8 16v Ecotec engine 48k on the clock.
Standard throughout apart from backbox which was to replace a rotten original and get it through it's MOT in 2006. It's not any louder than the original.
Taxed until the end of the year, MOT'd until June 30th 2009.
Last MOT required new rear coil springs and advisory on the rear brake pads. I replaced the rear pads that same week.
Was last serviced by yours truly on 1st August 2008. Serviced as per the service light reminder each time. Previously serviced 3rd August 2007 by myself and by Vauxhall on 26th June 2006.
It has had a new steering rack fitted 13th May 2008 at just shy of £700.
The alarm power sounder unit was re-newed 1st August 2007.
I replaced the radiator towards the tail end of last year, there's pics of it in the Saloon re-build thread.
The car is very tidy condition with only slight corrosion and scratches on the wheels, 2 or 3 stonechips on the bonnet, slight damage to the rear bumper where the wife reversed back into our neighbours Clio - the bumper bulges out on the near side only.
The A/C radiator is broken and would need replacing to allow the A/C to work obviously after being re-gassed. We live in Scotland and have never used the A/C anyway so it wasn't a priority to repair.
As a result of the A/C radiator and slight bumper damage I would consider offers in the region of £2900.
