When i ran 256mm brakes on my Corsa i had some 14" steelies on for a week whilst wheels were being powdercoated.
Will be very close, but you stand a good chance.
Iirc they won't go mate, I fitted them and had to but sr steels on the front for a week also whilst I waited for my new speedlines, the spokes catch the caliper

cheers mate, i know they fit astra gte wheels but just not sure about the nova wheels!
they fit under the wider 5J sr/gte alloys,(should be gte as wider) but the wont fit under the skinnier 4j/4.5j alloys. hope this helps
I have used the grinder on mine, i had to take a fair bit off but dont catch at all now.
ohh yes the other flaw in the system is, if you have brand new pads then yes the caliper might skim the back of the spokes. shaving a couple MM's off the pads would solve this as this is preferable to wheel spacers.
As ck said, I used brand new pads which is one reason i had to take a lot off.

I had to grind down the calipers on my old 256x20mm brakes with new discs and pads, to fit behind 5J 3 spokes, not by much though.
