just bought a aset of gte/gsi side skirts , was wondering what is the best way to fit them ????

Buy new clips from Vauxhall if you haven't got any. Then rivet/glue them to the car somehow.

There's a guide for riveting them in place on the Topbuzz website.

proper clips. use self tapping screws to fit them...

I bought the clips but IMO too much of a faff to get them in the right place and then to get the skirt to slide on. Tiger seal and self tappers in the sill FTW!

a small amount of measuring & a few pencil marks...didn't take my too long. but i won't fit them to another as they love attracting rust

Still too much of a faff. Freshly painted car, freshly painted skirts = accident waiting to happen. Tiger seal = easy job.

wtf this thread is like 2 years ago, i would be worried if he hasn't fitted them by then
