First off apologies for the non Nova/Vaux post but I'm stuck and in need of a little help needed here (Baxter?) I am wanting to change the discs/pads on my parents 05 Nissan Terrano II and it has me stumped.
I have no Haynes for it as you can't buy one, I have downloaded the factory service manual but it's pretty vague.
I have taken a screen shot from the FSM and used my paint skillz to show you what I mean (hopefully)

The problem is I can not remove the wheel hub that attaches to the front face of the brake disc.
I have removed the bolts securing it to the brake disc (BLUE) and also the nuts which appear to secure the free running hub to the wheel hub (RED)
It does move a few mm, separating from the disc face but I get the impression something like the drive shaft hub nut is stopping it from sliding right off. I have removed the dust cap (YELLOW) and there is no hub nut, just some very strange looking snap rings and washers which I don't want to tamper with not knowing how they remove etc.
With the nuts removed (RED) I tried to split the centre of the free running hub (PINK) with a hammer and chisel as I was thinking maybe the hub nut is behind there?
However it won't split and now I am stuck. I have guessed my way as far as I can lol
Does anyone have any experience with these 4WDs or do other vehicles use a similar hub setup? Having never had anything to do with the hub on one before I have no idea.
it looks complicated lol

Looking at the FSM It seems to show that I do have to split the free running hub to gain access but then the wheel bearing etc is all exposed.
Surely the wheel hub and free running hub should lift off as one?
I have searched for Navara and come up with very little. I am about to look for Frontera/L200/Hilux etc to see if they are similar.
It is **** not being able to change the discs lol so I hope one of you experts can point me in the right direction.
Cheers, Liam
