Some Chevrolets. Grants engine code is correct.
Sadly the std turbo is very small & not much use for tuning, the manifold is all but useless if you want to use it on a UK 8v & whack up the boost.
Its identical to a SEH engine ;) but charged. Runs just under 200bhp as standard.
Us/Canada.
Code-C20GET iirc
C18GET & C20GET as fitted to a Pontiac Sunbird 1800 & 2000.
The original 8v turbo engine appeared in the GM "J-Body" range of cars in 1984. With 1.8 litres, garrett T2 turbo and no intercooler it made 150hp on around 9-10psi of boost.
In 1985 TurboTechnics here in the UK made their own version from the 1.8L GTE engine in the Vauxhall Mk2 Astra. This used a Garrett T3 turbo and an intercooler to produce it's 150hp ;)
Incidently, all the GET parts WILL fit onto a SEH/NE motor.
