All you LET owners, just how much of a gap have you got between your rad and front mount???

You should be fine Mike tbh.
People run ICs the whole length of the front panel, right in front of the rad, and they dont have problems.
Theres plenty of cold air once your moving

Er, i dont think you get what im saying chaps.....

Rad produce heat, lots off (as we all know) now, that heat will migrate to anything near it, I.E. A big funk intercooler mounted about 5mm infront of the rad!!

And vice versur, I/C gets bloody hot, the disapting heat will migrate to rad? No?

No, stick your head out the car window at 50mph, and then tell me the heat from the ic will be affecting the rad temperature ;) lol lol

Obviously there will be some heat soak when standing in traffic etc, my temps never got to hot in the summer when i was running my car in though!

heres a pic, as you can see the i/c is pritty close to the rad!

I've read somewhere (maybe on MIG ?) that some had been in touch with Pace products about getting a custom IC / Rad made up and were told that the ideal distance between the 2 was about 10mm (or there abouts) !!
Mines got a gap of about 15mm, never had any probs.
