View Full Version : Clock wire(s)?
My mk2 didnt come with a clock as standard, i presume the wires for it are already there but where?
Thanks
they should be taped down behind the dash.If you take the bit off around the clock and the 2 airvents you mite be able to see them then.
Sorry to hijack the thread but do mk1 clocks fit mk2 dashs?
Thanks ernie, will have a look soon.
Andy- No, theres a slight size difference, and if you want i could get a pic side by side.
No worries hope you find them.

plastic welding? how do you go about that?
Andy - I plan to start on it soon, will prob end up as another thing i dont finish.
Max - I use a electric soldering iron with a plastic weld tip, google plastic welding and im sure it will tell you all you need to know.
The wires for the clock are taped up to the front of the heaterbox in most cases, along with the cig lighter wiring if thats not already there too, so a bit of feely pokey down the back of your dash is needed!
I should be able to use my mk1 wires shouldnt i Spud??
