Which seats do you have? I find the SR/ SRi/ GTE/ GSi seats are really comfy but the pov spec ones are awful. Also be sure you have your seat in the correct position, it makes all the difference! :)

You have to twist in a nova seat - the steering wheel is angled and off center.

Right, I know exactly what the problem is.

Nova Poverty spec seats have a Bar at the bottom that hits your back above your ars3 and makes you sit a little of line and so not properly and comfortable. Dan is right you're leaning a little more to the centre of the car as well. Your best bet is to get some decent Semi Buckets (SR, SRi, GTE, GSi) and fit them. As Lynz says they're a lot more comfortable and hold you tighter in place. Also you dont have the bar at the bottom of the seat annoying the **** out of you.

I put my back out in a Corsa with Spax Suspension and standard seats while coming down hard over a hump in the road and I firmly believe if I had Semi Buckets, the added padding would have cushoned it and prevented it.

Dod seems to have the answer, and make sure your seat is in a good postion.

Or have you got yout seat wound back in "safe bruv" chav setting lol;)

TBH, the seat wound back is a good thing, you're laid back and more relaxed and so realisticially, its less likely to tense up and cause damage.

duno, ive most likely got the pov spec ones, but my cars the luxe plus, and someone yesterday said my bumpers were the sr ones, so would that mean ive got the sr seats? my mates all say they are comfy seats and i think they are fairly comfy, but its really startin to do my head in now

ill check my seat position it used to be mega 'safe bruv' but its not so bad any more, i dont want to look like ive got something inserted up me when im driving though haha

thanks for your help chaps! (and chappetes)

Yeah the Luxe+ comes with 'poverty spec' seats. As for bumpers, all non-GSi mk2 bumpers are the same, be it Merit or SR lol

Yeah as Iainkjrjgnbwhjrgkrjdbgjtkjhnghwegrhfj4irkjsbvfcywh jghjborsdfhcbhkrjgknv said, your bumpers are the same as SR ones but all mk2 Nova bumpers are, apsrt from GSi's. The seats are poverty spec but with a fancy covering that doesnt wear away as fast as the rest. lol
